I love this book!

That's the short and sweet version. I've always been a sucker for guide books to movies and shows, and when I heard there was going to be one about one of my all-time favorite shows, Trailer Park Boys, I became very excited.

I thought I was a huge fan of the show, but Matthew Sibiga and Don Winninger take the cake! These guys are obviously well versed in the show, and have put together a fun to read, hard to put down book.

I was a little worried that the book might be toned down a bit due to the language used on the show, but I'm happy to say that the book is faithful to the show, and uses the word Fuck instead of F#$@.... thats always been a bee in my bonnet. The swearing is such a huge part of the show, it just wouldn't be right not to have it... hence thats why even my Lego site contains swearing. I'm not much for censorship, so I was very happy to see the swearing...

The book is split up into three basic sections. The first section highlights the main characters of the show, giving insights into each of the characters. The second section is a comprehensive episode guide for seasons one through six. Each episode has a synopsis of the episode, best lines, "Rickyisms" (Ricky's twisted and hilarious logic), rare photo's, and a section called "nomesayin", which includes Lahey's fantastic "Shit Analogies", and various other info. The final section of the book is entitled "Other Shit", and contains all sorts of hilarious material, including an overview of two of my favorite non-human characters, the Shit-Mobile and Conky.

The book is lavishly illustrated, with tons of fantastic pictures from the show in full colour. My only regret is that I didn't have this book before I made some of my Lego creations, although I've got some ideas for some new ones... (a mini-Lego Conky for my mini-Bubbles is on the way!)

My only complaint about the book is the lack of any coverage of the Trailer Park Boy's Movie, although thats only a minor complaint. Overall, if you're a fan of the show, you'll love this book!
